Sometimes you just want vanilla cake and you want it to be pretty.
I kept seeing rose covered cakes on pinterest and finally tried it myself.
If you want to impress someone, this is an easy way to do it.

It's just a simple swirl in reverse!
Swirl from the middle out and you get a perfect rose every time.

Awww, you shouldn't have given away your secret! There I was thinking that you were absolutely, massively talented! Then again, I have never baked a successful cake so perhaps I will hold on to that opinion!
