I normally don't do posts like this but I just can't resist.
Meet Rosie Pope.

My aunt told me about this reality tv show called Pregnant in Heels staring Rosie on Bravo and how she learned the correct pronunciation of scone from it. She then went on to say about how interesting it was to learn British traditions and one episode involved a pregnant woman asking Lord Wedgwood to be her daughter's godfather.
Well, that piqued my interest so I tuned in to the episode in question. Um, almost everything Rosie said in this particular episode made me question whether she is actually British like she proclaims.
First, she told the woman in question she must serve spotted dick at tea. Has anyone who lives in England had spotted dick over tea? I think not. I certainly cannot recall ever having seen it on a tea menu.
Second, she makes a very bizarre statement. I quote: "I used to be a Baroness before I moved to America." Correct me if I'm wrong but once a Baroness always a Baroness. Moving to the US has nothing to do with losing your title.
Third, she tells the woman who wants Lord Wedgwood to be the godfather that he is royalty. A Lord is not royalty. Unless you are a descendant of the King/Queen you are not royal. Lord Wedgwood is not going to help said child move in royal circles like you proclaim. He may know the Queen since he is a well know Lord running a well known company but he is not related. I know a few Lords and Ladies and an Honorable and they would die if they were wrongly perceived as being a royal on TV. Well, at least a few of them would... Certainly an English woman who is a Baroness would know about titles and royalty. Don't they learn this in school?!
Anyway, if you have tuned in, let me know what you think.
